Amal Clooney, born Amal Alamuddin, a Lebanon native, is an Lebanese and British barrister who was a human rights advocate over the years. An alumni of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her lengthy and successful professional career in the field of international law and human rights has earned her acclaim internationally.
